I guess this is positive news for those who don't want to see X support Pearl Jam again.

X’s Exene Cervenka believes the Santa Barbara shooting was a hoax

Although it’s often lumped in with many of California’s first-wave punk bands, X always side-stepped many of the genre’s early tropes, focusing less on the reactive, “question authority” ethos and instead serving as an updated take on rock ‘n’ roll classics. Yet, it appears that all that exposure to punk’s radicalism seeped into X’s vocalist Exene Cervenka, who has recently been firing off tweet-after-tweet claiming that the recent shooting in Santa Barbara was all an elaborate hoax that would force stricter gun control laws on the public. Cervenka’s firsthand commentary has been slight, as she’s largely reposted Youtube videos from other conspiracy theorists who attempt to prove that Rodgers was an actor likely hired by the government to push its agenda. Scrolling further back into Cervenka’s Twitter feed shows that her stance as a conspiracy theorist and truther has been bubbling for a while, the pinnacle of which was reached when she re-posted a video titled “Illuminati Finger Puppets,” which exposes the truth of government cover-ups in the way it so often does, through close-up photos of Bill Clinton and Miley Cyrus.

So many punks made three albums or more
And that weak-ass shit is still sittin' in the record store
They wonder why it never sold
Punkers playing since the '70s, still never went gold

Social Distortion opened the Philly '09 shows and they sounded like somebody running a chainsaw for 45 minutes. That pretty much set the tone for an action packed evening.

Didn't they not have any in 2013? Wasn't it that whole "An Evening with Pearl Jam" thing or whatever?

Midlake opened in Dallas and OKC. They were a good opener.
