Strong finish, but I was distracted by the actress that played Grasso’s sister, Lilli Kay. I’ve only ever seen her in Your Honor and a small part on Yellowstone, but her facial expressions are like someone who very obviously is trying to act. I jokingly said to a coworker “I wonder whose kid she is?” And looked up that she’s in fact Piper Perabo’s kid.

i liked it a lot but for me the show ended with last week´s episode. This final episode was kinda weak and obvious.

I mean, hard disagree, at least when it came to Tom’s story. His final few scenes were both devastating and awe-inspiring for me. The Jayson/Grasso stuff did wrap up kind of quickly, especially with how the final scenes last week built up the Tom/Grasso collision that was coming. I’ll be thinking of this show for a long time.

yeah i was mainly referring to
- Spoiler: show
- the burner phone from grasso and the chain they found in the hand of Jayson´s wife. Very convenient and lazy. Also Meave getting all the money.

I liked the show but feels like an episode is missing, specifically around some more Dark Hearts backstory.
Regardless, give Ruffalo the Emmy now for that scene in the finale.

I heard an interview with Brad Ingelsby and he revealed that right before they shot that, Ruffalo said to him, "You know, Tom should be reading this." And it's such an incredible choice, because based on how we've gotten to know Tom, there's no other way it can be played. Great stuff.

Binged this this week. It was entertaining, but too many dumb choices to be believed.
Yeah, let’s kidnap the kid.
Let’s beat the bad guy unconscious in a cabin in the woods, not cuff him or tie him up, and then leave him alone immediately.
How about we choke a girl to death and leave our chain in her dead hand.
Like The Beast In Me, these little self-contained shows are fun, but almost instantly forgettable.
