Is your favorite PJ song also your favorite song?

Or do you have a song/songs from other artists that are higher?

Go and Tremor Christ are my two favorite PJ songs, and they are my favorite band, but I don't think either of those songs would be in my top five songs of all time.

Tremor Christ is an excellent choice. I can't even pick a PJ fav song.
PJ is my favorite band, and there's maybe 1 PJ song in my top 5, not at the top spot.

I don't even know what my favorite song is, but it's not a PJ song

I think the answer is definitely no, even though I don’t know what my favorite song is. I was listening to Tonight’s the Night yesterday and there are like 2-3 songs on there that I like more than most (and maybe all) Pearl Jam songs, when I listen to them I get a rush and enter a zone that just doesn’t happen with much else, but I also don’t know if I’m willing to elevate Albuquerque to “most favorite” status.

Alive was a million years ago.

Hail Hail would probably still rank pretty high.

"Corduroy" definitely stands a chance of being my favourite song of all time, but my taste has changed so wildly in the last 10 years that I probably have a different current favourite song (though I don't know what it is)

If I could expand it to "one of my favorite songs", then pearl jam might make the cut. But I don't even know what any of those songs would be.

I don’t have a favorite song, I don’t think. Always seemed like it’s too many to just have one that soars over all others. Some days it could be something excessive like Achilles’ Last Stand, or something more like Can’t You See - i guess it would shift from day to day, just as my favorite Pearl Jam song would. On a given day then, a Pearl Jam song could be my favorite song.

No. Years ago I considered Release and later You Are as my favorite songs by anyone. Those are still high on my list of favorite PJ songs but I don’t think they’d crack my top ten overall.
More than any other artist for me, Pearl Jam songs are amplified so much within the context of the album they live on or by being surrounded by other PJ songs on a playlist or live show. On their own, many don’t quite hit the same though there are some exceptions.

I cant properly rank pearl jam songs int he overall arch of my life. Way too close/obsessed.

For a number of years, beginning in about 2008 (per my feelings journal) i declared "hold on" by Tom Waits to be my favorite song ever.

Still may be....

Hold On is absolutely one of the greatest songs of all time.

But it isn't even my favorite Tom Waits song. Which just goes to show that Tom Waits has more songs in my all time top 25 than Pearl Jam does.

Tom Waits rules!
