I've decided to unburden myself from the tyranny of the long podcast queue. I deleted a bunch of stuff that's been lingering at the bottom of my queue for months or maybe years that I will never get to. And I deleted other stuff that I'm not interested in. I even unsubscribed from a couple shows I like. I'm going to be ruthless about not even listening to episodes of some of the remaining shows if I'm not interested in the topic.
This is already working. I listened to two music albums today, 13 Songs by Fugazi and Speaking in Tongues by Talking Heads. Way better than listening to analysis of whatever bullshit the government is trying to do to me
There will be still be podcasts, just I'm going to be better at deleting stuff instead of letting it pile up un-listened to, or suffering through listening to it in case there's something good in there

Six years ago my resolution was to "stop making promises I can't keep to myself."
These last six years, I've been great at keeping my resolution.
