To do so we must form the list of the perma-banned

We will leave the listing development process open for one week. Following the list development, we will vote on who to be freed.

I just meant they’ll be banned again right away. For the wrong reasons.

I'm a new(ish) mod... but based on what I've seen here and in the mod forum, no one has ever been banned for their political ideology. In fact, the banning of dime would contradict any evidence of that.

The people who are banned hurt people or broke board rules (usually multiple times) or both. Stop trying to take a bullshit culture war and bring it here, please.

It is not sad, there are of course good things about it too. And I know that you make the effort to meaningfully connect. But for so many, it seems to foster an isolation that allows them to be very apathetic towards the real world outside. And MAGA knows this and takes advantage of it.

Or I’m giving MAGA too much credit, but the point is our world is ripe for what’s happening right now. Not sure it would work or work as well even ten years ago.
