I really hope this is the end of that evil regime, and that the wonderful people of Iran can be free again.

Iran trying to cause as much damage as they can to anyone within range. They hit the Dubai airport ffs. They need to be shut down asap.

I'm actually kinda glad Trumpy-pants went in earlier and did whatever damage he did to their nuclear program because I suspect if they had the capability to press a button at this moment some fuck wit quite probably would "on the name of the Ayotollah".

This world is really turning to shit.

I am confident this US-orchestrated regime change will benefit the Iranian people just as much as when we did it in the ‘50s. I am sure US officials now have their wellbeing in mind just as much as Allen Dulles did.

Almost anything will be better than what was there. Awful people, responsible for slaughtering their own people as late as this month. Also a close ally of Russia, that have supplied their drones for attacking Ukraine.

Can fully recommend Iranian cinema, which has worked not because of, but despite the regime, in making some of the best movies (in the world) this past decade.

Two things can be true at the same time. A regime can be bad and it can be good that a tyrant was killed. (I certainly have no love for theocracies.) But it is also extremely fucking bad when the US kills foreign leaders, and historically it always ends horrendously. The US is not doing this and never has done these things out of any sense of compassion for suffering peoples. They have an endgame in mind that has nothing to do with that.

I also do not share your feelings about the Russia/Ukraine war, and do not see a regime allying themselves with Russia as inherently negative.
