Rats vs. Glorified G

These are my bottom two songs on Vs. but Vs. is a great album. Great music in both cases, and excellent performances from Ed, with lyrics that are aiming for tongue in cheek but are still just a little self serious because all pearl jam sounds self-serious in this era.

These days I'm more into the snap of GG than the funk of Rats

Two of my early favorites from Vs. I still like them both a lot. Voting Glorified G because that ending is so good.

This is already closer than I expected. Fun!

I love both of these, this is a very hard choice.

But it has to be Rats.

Rats is a charming and creative song

rarely played live but the first few renditions after they came out of the studio were really cool

Glorified G is controversial to many on this board but I view it as a massive ass-kicker hype-maker and I vote GG

Glorified G is one of the rare PJ songs that I wish was an instrumental.

In high school I dated a girl who thought the lyric was “glorified virgin and a pelican”
