We have some great options in our town, as well as a great supermarket that stocks a lot of imported Korean foods. I'm also a big fan of J Foodie meets K Foodie on Netflix, so I'm always wanting to try what they are eating. What are your favorites?

I just recently discovered kon-chijeu (corn and cheese dumplings) and I can't stop eating them.

Also love tteokbokki, and my wife eats kimchi as a snack.

I've been wanting to have more types of Korean Ramen since they eat it a lot on K Foodie and it all looks delicious, but haven't found anywhere decent yet.

Buldak and Shin are decent but pretty expensive for what they are. Indomie Mi Goreng tastes better for a quarter of the price. The texture of the Korean noods might be slightly better but that's about it.

I don't think instant noodles should cost $3 for a single packet. It just doesn't seem right.

I think what appeals to me about Korean ramen is the spice level. It seems to generally incorporate more heat than traditional Japanese ramen.

Gotta love that chili paste. I use it in a few sauces.

Ruddo, if you're ever in Houston again, you'd have a real trip on Long Point Drive. Restaurants and groceries aplenty. My favorite is Korea Garden. Known for a variety of stews, kimchis and BBQ. The food is great, the way the restaurant feels is even better. Dim lights, leather chairs. I love their spicy cod stew.

McD’s Australia has a new Dunked Korean range. It’s the breaded chicken sandwich completely dunked in a sticky Korean sauce. McRib vibes.

Are you going authentic with pork neck/spine bones? I would probably just go for whatever fatty, bone-in pork I could find.

I was able to find some pork neck at a local store

We just ate it. Served over Korean fried rice. Might be the best thing I’ve ever made at home.

Weather depending, I was going to meet my wife around Chinatown for lunch today. Might have to do Korean.
