Comes then Goes vs. Who Ever Said

I like both of these so much more than either song in the other match.

This is a vote for Who Ever Said. Comes Then Goes has some powerful moments, and great verses, but the Comes then Goes chorus should have been something more akin to a final summation of the song. I think the verses don't need the chorus to break them up (maybe a little musical flourish or offer the comes then goes lyric once without repeating. The song is too long, and too one dimensional. I think the verses can bear the weight, but the chorus just makes the song a little flabby.

Who Ever Said

One of the reasons I have pined for a proper Of the Earth is because Pearl Jam rarely sprawls out on their track. You get it some on Not For You, Present Tense, even Inside Job. Who Ever Said is one of the better examples of a sprawling track that shows how good they can sound when they don’t limit themselves to 4 minutes. It gets my vote against a song that I still think I love the sentiment but not the execution.
