You Are vs. Who Ever Said

Who Ever Said. What a great song!

You Are. No question.

All the nice things I said about Who Ever Said in the last round are true. I vote You Are. When I think about the songs that simply blew my mind from this band the first time I heard them - the strongest memories of my very first listen of one of their new albums - You Are was that for me on Riot Act. It didn’t always stay at the top as I grew more comfortable, but it has a wonderful immediate impact and sounds cool as hell.

Other songs that gave me that feeling on the very first listen were Last Exit, Hail Hail, Do the Evolution, Nothing As It Seems (sorry wease), Severed Hand, Pendulum, Quick Escape, Dance of the Clairvoyants - all of them belong high in my estimation still.

Well, I have no idea what Who Ever Said sounds like, but there's no way it would be better than You Are.

I thought I knew what WES was but then I realized I was thinking of Scared of Fear so yeah, agreed

Scared of Fear is awful, just terribly bad.

Who Ever Said is actually great, a highlight of the last few years.
