My vote for Perkins was mostly wishful thinking. He has just the right combination of power and groove for their sound. When I was listening to Nothing’s Shocking the last time, I could fully imagine him working so well with them, which may be assurance it won’t happen - but I would posit that he might be Jack Irons level fit.
