I’ve not had any gambling debt since 2000.

My problem isn’t casino fun. I love it but that’s controllable. My issue was betting college football and basketball and pro football. Got into trouble a couple of times. Haven’t bet on a game since.

I couldn’t handle the highs and lows. Do love playing poker though

I spent a few hours at a casino one time I went to Vegas for a conference, I was with a group and ended up losing about $130. First and only time

I went to a casino at niagra falls. the idea was I had $20 to lose. over the span of 2 hours I went as high as 130 up to 10 dollars. Left with the 20 back in my pocket.

I bet the last derby and won $78. then played that +22 more bucks on black jack and cashed out 800 something.

in my 20s i bet a NBA parlay and hit the first two legs and lost the last leg. last time i ever bet on sports game other than march madness

I haven't gambled in years. But when I stopped I was up in sports betting and down in casino gambling. Net-down if you combine the two.

I love playing poker with the bros, but don't really consider that gambling since the most you could lose was like $20 and I just considered that the cost of playing.

Once in high school I lost my entire shitty minimum wage paycheck playing War for $20 a go. I was truly degenerate. Some dude beat two of us like 8 straight times! That cured me real quick.

Who here picks individual stocks as opposed to index funds? Also gambling.

Hang on, you reminded me of a short period of time where I’d play poker against my co worker at our boring job to pass the time. I lost a bunch of money (at the time) to that jerk. I was 19-20, so it taught me a good lesson at a tender age on how fruitless a hobby it was.

It's pretty fucked up how much of our economy is based on gambling now. If they banned it, our society would collapse.
