Yeah, they won, but….
Lakers Covid championship springs to mind. Also that time the Lakers and the corrupt refs took that series from Sacramento and went on to win. Who else we got?

- Spoiler: show
- I would say the kings shot selections led to the free throw difference. they hardly took any shots inside the paint where as most of the lakers shots came from inside the paint.
there were missed calls on both sides of the ball if you go back and look at it objectively
the cheating astro's?
i kinda thought the TB lightning hiding kucherov on IR the whole season then activating him for the playoffs where his salary didnt count against the cap (they were given a medical exemption) should be asterik worthy

South Africa's Springboks straight up poisoned our team during their home Rugby World Cup in '95.
They'll do literally anything to win. Crazy.

Any team that won a championship in a year when fans were not allowed to attend the games.

I wouldn't put an asterisk there. both teams played under similar conditions. neither gained an advantage (ie not cheating)

For those of you who have never had the displeasure of being heartbroken by an asterisk team, I'm curious what you expect a die-hard to do when the dust settles. I can't objectively answer this as a lifelong Astros fan, but obviously I would love to see healing in my lifetime.
