I was googling some information on insurance and it made a reference to the Bogleheads forum. I clicked on it and it looks (visually) just like RM - only instead of being comprised of Dave A superfans - it is comprised of mostly elderly superfans of former Vanguard chairman John Bogle, father of the low cost Exchange Traded Fund (ETF).
Let's get prudent and hang out there?

No, John Bogle was not a billionaire.
His net worth at the time of his death in 2019 was estimated to be around $80 million.While other financial industry leaders and founders amassed multi-billion-dollar fortunes, Bogle's personal wealth was significantly smaller by comparison.
Why He Wasn't a Billionaire:
1) Client-Owned Structure. As users on Reddit agree, Bogle deliberately structured The Vanguard Group as a client-owned mutual cooperative rather than a traditional for-profit corporation.
2) Forgone Profits: Because Vanguard operates at cost to benefit its investor-owners, Bogle chose to forgo the massive equity and personal profits that would have come with a standard corporate setup.
3) Philanthropy: He was an active philanthropist who reportedly gave away a large portion of his income annually rather than accumulating personal excess. He expressed pride in not being a billionaire, believing that his life's work was measured by how much money he saved ordinary investors.
