Do you run red lights when no one's around?

[Simple Torture]

I was out driving early on Saturday morning, at like 5:45, and especially because it was a weekend, there was almost no one on the road. Right before I got to the donut shop I saw a guy just blow through a red light, didn't slow down or even doing a rolling stop. I was still about 300 yards away from him, and he could probably see there was no one close to him in any direction, but still. Do you guys run red lights when no one's around?

Hell, I run them with full traffic! I caught myself one day last week driving home from a long day at work. I rolled up to the busiest intersection in this town right in the middle of rush hour traffic. There was no one stopped ahead of me but I clearly saw the light was red. Did that stop me? Nope. Before I knew it, I was barreling right thru the light. By the time I realized what I was doing, it was too late. So I quickly did a scan and luckily no one else in any of the other lanes had begun to come thru the intersection. I got VERY lucky. I’m sure all those other drivers watched me and were wondering what the actual fuck I was doing. I know I was wondering that after I made it thru unscathed. I was also lucky there were no members of the local constabulary around to observe my scofflaw behavior.

I think the last time I did was when I was like seventeen and driving my Grandfather around Kentucky. And the stop lights were all on the side of the street instead of overhead and I honestly didn't even see them. I must have run three before my Grandfather told me what I was doing.

I did that once at night and there was a cop right behind me. He let me go because he was also annoyed that the light wouldn't turn green

I've gone through red lights late at night in the middle of nowhere, but only because they were taking forever to change, and I was just watching the empty world as I sat there. I can't imagine any circumstance where I would drive through a light without stopping.
