Beach House

I wanted to tell you people how much I love Beach House but there was no Beach House thread. :gomez:

Devotion - Teen Dream - Bloom is one hell of a three album run. Is their first album any good? I haven't listened to that one yet.

"Teen Dream" and "Bloom" are both more or less perfect albums.

Yes. I prefer Teen Dream but can easily see people digging Bloom more. Two of the best albums of the last 5 years.

Are you trying to tell me that inoffensively nice isn't a good way to describe these guys? I enjoy their records well enough, but there's not much teeth to the music. They've got their niche and they fill it...nicely.

I agree. Its not a bad thing though.

Teen Dream is amazing from start to finish.

I just couldn't get into Bloom, don't know why. Maybe it's time to give it another chance.

Yeah...I listened to Bloom. It's a pretty fucking cool record.

Both albums are about a feeling and a tone. That said, Teen Dream has more identifiable songs where Bloom flows from one into the next.
