What's better? The seminal Lanegan track from the equally seminal album Whiskey For The Holy Ghost or Pearl Jam's new track, which is very good but not as seminal as say, the artwork for My Father's Son.

This place is turning into the Pit and there is nothing I can do about it.

I like the pj pendulum more, but I like the river rise more than both. Can that be an option?

I don't know but I do know that hearing the band Pendulum makes me want to claw my ears off.

Lanegan Pendulum FTW. I still need more time with the PJ version and while it is a huge highlight on LB, Lanegan's version is brilliant.

The band Pendulum is great. And their spin off Knife Party is even better. Rob Swire is a genius.

They're really not. It's like BoB got hold of a drum 'n bass producer and told him to fill the song with tons of unnecessary junk.

OK, the bulk of that is quite nice. It's quite sort of trouse-ish. Something I'd dance to in a club. But it still has that quality of too many genres of dance music clashing together. In there, you have trance, house, gay club anthem, dubstep sounds. And I don't like that melodic techno synth they insist on putting on top of everything. I just find them to have a very everything-and-the-kitchen-sink approach to dance music.
