Lightning Bolt Vinyl "Manufacturing Issues"

It has come to our attention that there have been some manufacturing issues with the Lightning Bolt vinyl possibly due to the high quality and delicate nature of the special packaging. If you are in receipt of an album that you feel may be defective in some manner, please send an email to UMG Customer service at:
fisherscustsvc@umusic.com indicating the specific issue with your copy. Replacement vinyl will begin shipping out early next week to all those affected by this issue.
This is probably already in the LB thread already, but did anyone have troubles?

I don't currently have a way to play mine that just arrived yesterday, but hopefully will soon so i can get a replacement if i need one

I haven't listened to mine yet, but this seems to be a packaging issue.

i saw that. and i still haven't opened it yet, but i wonder if its something where the packaging is scratching it or something like that

My gatefold had some really minor flaws. I didn't even blink at them, but being that they sent out this e-mail I went ahead and sent it to them. I wouldn't be surprised if they tell me to stop wasting their time.

are they just sending out a 2nd one if you had problems or are they needing the original one back? i can see a bunch of people claiming to have problems when they dont just to get another vinyl

I think they have a specific problem in mind. You notice it doesn't say specifically what the problem is. If you complain about something other than they specific problem you're probably out of luck.
It's like saying you found someone's wallet and the person has to describe it to get it.

there's a number of posts in OB about skipping in the same tracks and some issues with the packaging.

Finally got mine yesterday. Had a few problems. Beeping at the end of Infallable and it skipped so much the song wouldn't end. Also had skipping issues on side b with Pendulum, SBM and Future Days. Bummer because it sounds great. Hopefully they replace it.
