JFK Assassination

Post by BootsToAsses »

Sorry folks, this has probably been flogged to death but since I was 10 years old this has fascinated me so much. My favourite film is JFK, and despite it's flaws I find it a fascinating piece of cinema.

I'm reading "On The Trail Of The Assassins" by Jim Garrison and the sheer volume of information included that was left out of the Warren Commission is astounding.

Thoughts?

I saw a supermarket tabloid last week that had a JFK autopsy photo on the cover. Turned my stomach.

Yeah that's not something you'd want to put on magazine covers! Even the autopsy photos were altered :shake:

There's an X on the spot where he was assassinated. And if you stand on that X and look back(way back) at the book depository and then look up at the grassy knoll, all becomes clear.

I'm pretty certain Oswald did it.

Really though?
Kennedy had made some alarming comments about the military industrial complex and wanting to dismantle it. He knowingly rocked the boat that he was sitting in. No way were they gonna let him move against them. I think they took him out.

Oswald was just a patsy.

The guy who ordered the Bay of the Pigs wanted to dismantle the military- industrial complex? Really?

Some of these theories are weird. Apparently George Bush Snr has a hand in the assassination. And another is a rookie secret service guy accidentally fired the killing blow.

Maybe he felt like dismantling it was the only way he could control himself--like deleting your video games from your computer before studying for a test

Are you two fucking around or are y'all serious? There is no way Oswald acted alone. He probably had something to do with it, but it wasn't him and him alone. Y'all really can't think that, can you?

Why exactly couldn't have Oswald acted alone? I get that he got his shots off pretty quickly, but it would still be pretty much on par for British Regulars in World War I, right? Oswald did choose a poor weapon, but still it would have been plausible.

Sure.

I mean, I've never seriously researched it, but what I've read before suggests there's a pretty compelling evidential basis for believing that Oswald acted entirely alone; the ballistics and whatnot checks out.

Maybe I've just read way too much shit about this, and tons of conspiracy theories, but I just don't think there is any way that man acted alone. I think there were a lot of people involved, and Oswald was the patsy (as he claimed he was).

So I'm not denying that he probably pulled the trigger, at least one of them, but I don't think he just thought of all of this on his own. He was in cahoots with people. Who those people are, I do not know, but it involves the government and Jack Ruby.

I was obsessed with this when I was in high school and read every book I could on it and thought there was a conspiracy. As I've gotten older I've realized that Oswald did it. People just don't want to believe a loser like him did it alone.

Furthermore, many of the assassins in history were pretty nondescript people. Oswald isn't particularly notable in that regard.

After 50 years, if someone other than Oswald was involved, we probably would have known about it by now.

Been doing some reading and apparently there have been some deathbed confessions.
Plus the three 'tramps' (arrested released and no record kept of them)were supposedly CIA operatives that later were involved in Watergate.
Far Too many unanswered questions to just leave it with Oswald.
The conflicting autopsy reports too. One was done in Dallas, then the Presidents body taken without permission to Washington where more photos are taken and totally conflicting results announced. The Doctors in Dallas said his wounds had definitely been added to and altered upon seeing the second results. In order to back up the official story? Who knows.

Plus there's thousands of documents that were destroyed and 50,000 documents are still sealed. That says a lot.
