first season's over, but it was fuckin hysterical. anyone else see it?

Saw it. The last two episodes were great. The 4 or 5 before them were just okay. I have two issues with the show: 1) The protagonist is a shallow douche and has mo self-awareness. It's just hard to pull for him. It's what made Life's Too Short a chore to watch. 2) i know Steve is famously frugal in real life, but given his digs in the show, it doesn't make sense for the character.
His answer to, "What's he like?" in the wedding episode had me literally off the couch and on the floor, rolling.
I hope it gets another season.

I thought it got better and better as the season played out. The first several episodes were pretty repetitive.
