I've never had to do this, since we don't get snow in our area. Is it akin to mowing the lawns, or worse?

This is bullshit. Clearly an outdoor activity. This thread should not have been moved.

Pour salt and or salted water onto the snow.
Melts it off I'm told.

I tried to embrace the new forum, and was stifled by a moderator who is enamored with his power. It's a shame.

Can I get some clarification as to why this thread was moved? Just a moderator with a grudge? Or was there a legitimate reason?

This is clearly not an a recreational outdoor hobby/pastime. I'm happy to allow a thread about chud's stalking, since he does it for the enjoyment of it.

Exercise isn't always a hobby or done for enjoyment, it's a fitness subforum.

A fitness subforum that specifically lists "outdoor activities" as part of it's title. Doesn't get much more outdoors than shoveling snow.
