this game ruined me, changed me for the better, and made me who I am no doubt.

Now I know all my american friends are thinking I am talking about 10-pin, but here in Canada we do 5-pin bowling.

I don't use the thumbhole. Anyone else use this technique?

In Canada there is no thumb-hole.

I still have 2 balls from the early 80s that I use...they're similar to this except blue

honestly no one in the city keeps the lanes as nice as the small town I grew up in. I normally have to change shoes 3 times to get a pair that isn't sticky on the bottom too. In other words, the last few years of my bowling life have been a little disappointing.
