I want to vote for Future Days just because I enjoy it so much, but STBC is a classic.

it is so fucking hilarious that these two songs got picked to go head to head

future days has a peer group of one, consisting of the jean tripplehorn xmas single

in a bad way

and not "bad" as in cool

bad as in, not good.

Honestly, neither are particularly remarkable on a songwriting level. Future Days gets a decent mood going after a minute, but Spin on record literally sounds like it's coming apart at the seams. It's my favorite punk PJ song because it actually justifies the speed. You can hear gears popping out of place and glass cracking all around it, and it sounds like they're just desperate to reach the finish line before it collapses around them.

And, as I've said before, an album reacting to millions of records being sold (and the consequences of) is the perfect place for a song reflecting on the importance of the ONE record that changes your life.

STBC does Pearl Jam better than Future Days.
There's the dog. You can't fake that stuff. Confess with your mouth.
