Wishlist is a great song, and one of their great studio performances. I've never heard a live version that matches it. I always associate the song with Sometimes; both studio versions of those songs generate a similar feel to me.
I think I listened to Santa God once. Man, a lot of those Xmas singles are showing up in this round, and barring the Jackson 5 cover they're pretty bland.

Wishlist is really nice in the context of Yield. The way begins just barely being audible after the bombast of Given to Fly and then fades out as Ed is still wishing makes it feel almost like you're eavesdropping on a really private moment.
It loses a lot of that appeal outside of the context of the album for me, but within the album it works really nicely.

I hate the fade out. I get the idea but I heard the Monkey Wrench version first and that's the version I love. They should have ended it it like that on the record.
