What a perfect match up to show the disparity between PJ being hard and PJ acting hard. The listener sits inside on his couch, waiting for something to rock his world.. One bangs on the door shouting and begging to be let in, when the other just plows through it head first.

I did not like Getaway when the new album first came out. But, its really grown on me over the last few months.

These two are very different songs for me. Not For You has not aged well for me. I am not sure why.

Getaway is a bouncy, playful, older inversion of the self-righteous standoffishness of Not For You. I voted for Not For You because it's just a tremendous song, and getaway has its flaws. But its a respectable number.

Don't even try to find excuses for the playfulness in Getaway. It doesn't have any intelligent merit or intent. It's just plain dumb.
