This is kinda hard, but Severed Hand has been kicking my ass lately. Especially live versions like the one on BMA.

In The Moonlight. Severed Hand has always been pretty blah to me. It's definitely my least favorite of the opening four-song S/T run, which I kind of always associate as a piece.

Ok. I've always really liked Severed Hand, and in my head, prior to listening to these again, I thought it was close...but it's not. ItM is so much better. I still can't believe it was left off the album.
Even If SH is about a psychedelic experience, In the Moonlight does a much better job of capturing that feeling, even if it's unintentional.
So, ItM by a night birds country mile.

In the Moonlight is clearly the better choice.

Severed Hand is good for what it is (straight ahead rocker, PJ by the numbers), but I'd rather hear ITM in just about every situation. The only circumstance where I'd rather hear Severed Hand, I believe, is driving with the windows down where I'm not really paying attention.
