Mike Patton is a fucking genius. I don't like everything he does, but it's always interesting.

this record is owning me..Patton´s vocals are as strong as ever and some of the songs are FNM good...what the fuck, how is that this band isnt huge?

it's not exactly an easy listen but yeah this is the best cd I have heard in a long while.
plus most people are pussies.

basically every song is awesome except maybe IOU.
Duane Denison is the man and this is probably his best guitar work ever.
I figure choke, oddfellows, and the quiet few are the most challenging moments here but they have turned out to be favorites.

yeah, every fucking song is amazing...the mood from this record is everything, its fucking badass.
Favorites: Oddfellows, Stone Letter ( fuuuck this one is good..), white hats/black hats, the quiet few...they are all good...its really surprising how they go from straight heavy to more quiet and moody moments, and even if the whole band rules, kudos to Trevor Dunn, really that guy is fucking good.
Also...Mike fucking Patton.

" i can almost see them" is a great route song. Specially if you are driving in the night.

Oh that motherfucker is definitely crazy. Remember when he insulted Wolfmother for being "stuck in the past" whilst admitting his plans of releasing a "60s spanish kinda album". The guy is immensely talented, but he is not at all sane or entirely aware of himself. Dude is fucking ridiculous, even. Eh, its whatever. I will seek out anything he does.

He is one of the most talented musicians out there; and maybe the best singer. But he is out of his mind...he doesnt care about anything...and live he is something else entirely.

He is brilliant and quite reserved and normal in person. He comes down to Australia frequently and sells tickets to whatever incarnation his on plus he could fart for two hours on stage and people would still buy tix! As much as I like Tomahawk I LOVE Faith No More!!! Angel Dust is art damaged metal behemoth almost unmatched!
