Since this is not a link to the song per se, but rather KEXP's streaming archive of what they played at a particular time of day, I think it is allowed. Feel free to remove otherwise:

The song will start immediately.

If it's not a Kevin Davis leak, then I don't want to hear it.

It's a pretty nice alt country song with Mike and Stone on guitar.

I can't stand Sirens but don't mind that tune at all.
I have been listening to Lucinda Williams all morning though, so perhaps I was well prepped for it, I dunno.

I had never heard Brandi Carlile before but was reminded of Lucinda Williams. Interesting. While there are shared elements with Sirens (Mike's acoustic strumming, Stone's atmospheric backing), I agree that they are superficial at best.

If you can, I suggest you give a listen to the instrumental version of this song (side B). It sounds like Pearl Jam a la Foldback/Thunderclap/etc. I had only listened to this song digitally before, and finally decided that since the packaging is not the type that seals, and since my cartridge stylus was just reconditioned, I could afford to spin the B side to finally hear the instrumental. Man, it sounds good!
