I actually think the crop of b-sides from the No Code/Yield era are some of my favorites, but All Those Yesterdays has something that BRY just doesn't; I dunno exactly where it is (probably in the outro), but my memories of ATY are just so much stronger.

Something about Yesterdays, beyond the bass, always felt too Beatle-nodwinked to me. Great song, but I can tie its heart to history and in doing so define it. BRY is alive and throbbing, and I wish it was the last track on Yield (not just to escape the soft song closer habit or to fuck over a great song like Yesterdays)(also mastered to fit the album sound)

I like Black, Red and Yellow more than most but All Those Yesterdays is truly great. We played it close out our wedding reception in fact.
