I love undone. I only really like STBC

Undone is the last five star song they've released by my standards.

I love records, but I'm convinced the band doesn't like making them anymore. Undone.

Spin, spin!

I like both a lot, but "Spin the Black Circle" was one of the songs that cemented my love not only for Pearl Jam but for rock music in general.

Hearing/seeing STBC live for the first time in '98, broke my live-music hymen. Not with the caveman-esque method applied by Human Bass, but with a giant pulsating magical black cock that thrust me into concert ecstasy. How can I not vote for it?

You know exactly how I feel re: the beauty of an earnest, desperate reminder-to-self about the one record that saves your life, on an album that is an emotional knee jerk response to a million in faceless sales. All the more so because the album cut is collapsing under unseen weight, spraying gears and shards in all direction.

Undone is a great, moody work. It deserved an album. It ends poignantly and utilizes its sonic shifts well (looking at you LBC/Unthought/LB). But without Spin's broken ode to music Vitalogy is undefined and a little too controlled.

Spin the black circle is a really good song.
But I like Undone waaaaay better.

You know, I've never really been the biggest fan of STBC. It had the unfortunate fate of following Last Exit.

I've been thinking that for years.
And it is unfortunately followed by Not For You. So there's that.
I don't hear the wheels coming off / gears and springs breaking that is oft used to describe it either.

Undone deserves better than this, it should be winning actually.
