I like NAIS more than I used to, and nothingman less than I used to. I'm still voting for nothingman, but it's closer.

Another really, really tough match
I believe both songs deserve to go further
Picked Nothingman, but I wont be upset if NAIS wins

Nothingman's never done a great deal for me so I'll give this one to NAIS without a second thought.

Wow. Tough one. Re-listening to these two.
Man I love that "Caught a bolt of lightning, cursed the day he let it go" line.
Nothingman it is.

I've had a huge resurgence of love for Nothingman since listening to Monkeywrench recently but I still have to go with NAIS.

NAIS, it's a pretty easy choice for me.

Nothingman it is too. I love the whole "feel" of the song. Great song when you're hammered, though most songs are great drunk.
There was a time I really could relate to that line, now I realise I was just young and dumb.

Poor Nothingman. It's a great song, but this isn't even close.

Nothingman is great, but NAIS is on another level.

Lately, Nothingman is the one I seem to enjoy more in a live setting but when it comes to studio versions (and a nice pair of headphones, of course) I'm not sure that PJ have ever reached such sonic heights as they did with NAIS.

s'funny but for me that line serves more as a warning - I have my very own bolt of lightning and I don't want to be in that guy's position in years to come.
And you are absolutely correct - almost all songs are better with booze. As is my singing voice.

Adore both. But NAIS is one of those other level PJ songs for me. A song that, when I first bought Binaural, outweighed the collective disappointment of the four preceding songs.
Since, I've come around on all four of those songs to varying degrees. But my awe for NAIS has never wavered, and holds to this day. The bastard still gives me chills.
