Another tough one for me. Will have to think on this one for a bit. Really like both about the same, but are appealing for very different reasons.

Why be satisfied?
(Love them both, however.)

All Night is a piss-poor song, the vocals are grating and the drumming is stupid... I don't see how this gets a vote... WTF am I missing here?

Man of the Hour. Pretty easy one for me here, although I quite like All Night.

I like "All Night" a lot but this isn't even close for me.

Yeah, this is like Insignificance vs Push Me, Pull Me.

I hardly know Man of the Hour. I need to listen to more non-album tracks.

There's a few great ones out there. Jason A's "B-Sides and Rarities" compilation is an excellent starting point.

All Night. Man Of the Hour is good, but it's no All Night.

I don't like either. I voted for All Night.

This match up reminded me that I lost one of my Benaroya discs, found it 6 months later and then forgot where I had found it.
Now I'm sad.

Breakerfall suffers, I think, because of the other standout, straight-up rockers on the same album (Insignificance, Grievance); it's good in its own right, but it doesn't hold a candle to them (I'd even rank it below Sad, from the similar period).
Man of the Hour is a good song, and I think it really displays a sincere maturity that songs like Future Days are only miming. The story behind the song--that Ed watched Big Fish and was moved to write the lyrics--sounds hackneyed, but I actually believe it. You can tell that the music was hanging around for a while ("Foldback," anyone?) and the song still has a rough quality to it, as if Ed just felt like he needed to get it out. Very cathartic. A+

Oh, jeez, I was confused by the the matches listed at the bottom of the list. Man of the Hour is still my vote, though!
