Sad, but I'm not 100% confident. If I had to choose these days I might choose cropduster

This one is tough. Cropduster continues to get better as time goes on.
Sad is pretty incredible though and at one point I thought it was easy top 3 for me.

Damn, this is a really tough match for me
Sad is my favorite song from Lost Dogs
Cropduster is my favorite song fro Riot Act
I picked Sad, but this one hurts.

Not really big on either of these 2 to be honest. I'll go with Cropduster for now but I will consider changing votes if I think I can get something out of the deal.

There was a time when I'd say Sad easily, but now the opposite is true.

Cropduster is not a song I would think you like. I'm surprised.stip wrote:Sad, but I'm not 100% confident. If I had to choose these days I might choose cropduster

Cropduster. The lyrics of Sad are too juvenile.

Basically, yeah. I would go on about the bits surrounding it too but let me go off of what you said first.Leatherhead wrote:Cause he says "It's Sad" a lot?Washed Away wrote:Cropduster. The lyrics of Sad are too juvenile.
I'm not sure those lines contradict what I wrote previously, but I assume by your referencing them you take it as that is the most well written part of the song. May I ask what other lines you find particularly strong, and I hope it's not the bit about the photos fading and turning to grey.Leatherhead wrote:The door swings to a passing fable

My use of juvenile may have been too loaded, I would say amateurish but that also sounds pretty negative. I should explain a bit and say that I just don't find the writing here very clever. It's just something anyone out of a poetry writing class could crank out.

Re: Match FH: Sad vs. Cropduster
It normally wouldn't be. It's appeal is certainly enhanced by the fact that it is a standout track on what is easily their weakest album, imoLeatherhead wrote:Cropduster is not a song I would think you like. Sad. It's a great song, and better than Cropduster. The latter, I used to hate, but good 'ol spenno and some others swayed me, and now I kind of like it. Still though, Sad is better, so it gets my vote.
