A bunch of cyber-assholes will be on the futurenets complaining that Jack White and Arcade Fire sound so dated now and pining for the halcyon days of Korn, when music was real, man.

i fully expect the downfall of society prior to that.

Oh boy. Is that a time when Backpacker will be considered an underrated classic? Will our grandchildren be saying, "Hey that's a great album. Music was so cool back then"?

I fucking well hope not.

we'll be in the midst of a cultural renaissance.

The chinstrap will come back with a vengeance.
