I really love them both. But Small Town is one of my all time favorite songs. It's a joy to hear.

I love them both too. The "Go" single found its way into my player not long ago and I was really taken with the acoustic version of "Elderly Woman"--it's amazing how much warmth and intimacy the early versions of that song have, particularly after you've become used to it as a stadium singalong. And as far as general technique I don't really care about Dave A. either way but I will add "Elderly Woman" to the short list of tunes that none of their subsequent drummers have been able to handle with the same finesse. Additionally, it's a song that more or less pulled itself up by its own bootstraps--it was never released as a single by the band and for the first 4-5 years of its existence was really something of a rarity, yet it managed to become one of the band's best loved songs. Probably because it was the one song that everybody's girlfriend likes. A beautiful tune.

But I can't vote for it over "Off He Goes."
