The road to the final four

Tremor Christ: Sonic Reducer, Around the Bend, Faithful, Go, Release
Corduroy: Wishlist, MFC, In My Tree, Last Exit, Daughter

both songs had to take out some heavy hitters to get here. Is this a rematch of the last final?


As good as Tremor Christ is there are at least 4 other Vitalogy songs I'd put ahead of it. And, at least for me, Corduroy, Immortality, and Last Exit are the clear top 3

Tremor Christ. But these two songs are pretty much on the exact same playing field for me. I'd have no issue with Corduroy.

I legitimately love all the songs in the Final Four, so I really don't have a problem with any of them winning. That being said, Corduroy is easily my favorite of the four.

Corduroy's closest match was 52-43 vs. In My Tree and its biggest blowout was 73-8 vs. Wishlist (was also 73-9 vs. MFC)


Tremor Christ's closest match was 47-45 vs. Release (although it also beat faithful and Go by only 5 and 8 votes) and it's biggest blowout was 78-10 vs. Sonic Reducer.

Corduroy.

One of these is a candidate for the best song on Pearl Jam's best album. The other is a mediocre song that's overrated by a large majority of the fanbase and really shouldn't be in the final four.

Easy.

Both songs are amazing
But Corduroy.

One of these assessments is spot on. The other is completely wrong.

Corduroy easily, and I love Tremor Christ.

As good as Corduroy is, I've preferred Tremor Christ for quite some time.

Tremor fucking Christ. Every argument for TC also works for Corduroy. What a couple of songs.

Maybe next year we do this excluding previous champions.
