Matrix numbers on Vinyl records

I want to bid on a 4 sided record on ebay, but in the description it say the matrix number is A1U on all 4 sides. I thought each side had a different matrix number. Does this mean all 4 sides have the same set of songs on it, or am I wrong and the matrix numbers on albums are always the same on each side? Thanks for any help
