Alright, so here's the deal...

We'll post one anonymous mix every ten days. We'll keep the older mix links archived for as long as we can before the space is needed to make room for new ones. Anybody who wants to be involved should PM me. I'll take the first batch of names and assign everybody a period for their mix to be "featured" so to speak, and as new people join I'll assign them dates. I won't reveal the mixmaker until the next mix is posted, but if someone correctly guesses that you made the mix, you have the right to admit it. I'll also put any other information you want people to know along with your mix when I post (if it was made for a specific poster, if you want to reveal who that poster is, if you want people to guess, an introduction, if it has a theme, pretty much anything goes beyond revealing who you are or what the tracks are). Just make sure to include that info when you send me your mix. Please try to limit your mixes to eighty minutes.

Feel free to suggest any changes at any time.

If you recognize a song on a mix and the track listing hasn't been revealed yet, try and spoiler the title and artist if you mention it in your review. People will be free to review older mixes obviously, although their creators will no longer be a mystery.

The first mix will go up on May 12th, and the next will follow two weeks/ten days/whatever the current time length is later.

I think a week works well, but that's just me. Gives time to absorb and figure out what you like, I think.

I'm downloading Google Drive as we speak to see if it'll work. Worst case scenario I can just go back to dropbox.

In terms of the time, we could always start by posting them bi-weekly, and if after a mix or two it seems like it's going too slowly, we can make it weekly. Unless people overwhelmingly prefer to start weekly.

Looks like Google Drive should work. People can just email me/PM me a link to their mix when it's their week and then I'll upload their folder onto my Google Drive and post the download link in the OP here.

Yeah, you'd send me a folder with the songs tagged/named not by their titles but what track # they are. I'll post a link to download the folder, and then anyone who wants to can download it, listen to it, and post a review. This way there's constantly a new mix, no one has to worry about their mix not getting reviewed, and there'll hopefully be some discussion within each mix. The author can reveal everything at the end, though if the people reviewing it guess whose mix it is, you have the right to reveal yourself early. I was thinking we could use spoiler tags within each review to avoid naming the artist/song title if it's something we happen to be familiar with, but that's up to you guys.

I'll start compiling a list of who wants to be in, and I'll PM you guys each a date when I'll need your mix by. Can I assume anyone taking part so far would be able to produce a mix by next Monday if they end up getting picked to go first?

Also, we'll definitely leave the first mix up for two weeks, but if it seems to be going too slowly we'll make it a weekly thing.

Alright, I've got enough people who seem to want in to go ahead and run the names through random.org to start getting a schedule together. I will PM you guys your mix date (we'll post new ones on Monday). If you are one of the first two mixers, your date will not change. However, beyond that there is a chance we could decide to change things to weekly if the flow is too slow, so your date could possibly change. You'll know a few weeks in advance though, so it shouldn't effect anything. If I PM you a date and you didn't actually want to be in this, just PM me back and let me know.
