My father-in-law is a concert whore and said this is his second favorite venue to Red Rocks. High praise. Looking forward to it.

Did he say why? I have been there probably 25 times in the last 15 years, and I don't really see why anyone might say that. It's a pretty standard multipurpose venue.

He said there is not a bad seat in the house. What do you think?

And what do you think about the ticket sales tomorrow? Is it going to be one big clusterfvck, or do you see tickets lasting more than 3 minutes come 10:00 AM?

Obviously late on this, since the show sold out right away. No Chicago show, plus a Friday night gig, plus the smallest venue since Montana, early sell-out.

I like the venue, but I'm kind of biased because its the closest place to see a major act to where I live, so I have some really good memories there. As far as 'there are no bad seats' its true if you compare it to the United Center or some other full-sized basketball or hockey arena, since the worst seats are so much closer to the band. Really, its just and arena. Parking is easy, and the concourse is pretty big, so you aren't squeezed in as you come in and out. I really like it, but I would not put it next to Red Rocks or Alpine or anything like that.

Considering what I just paid on stubhub for some upper deck tix... this better be a balls to the wall / great set list / band on fire kinda show. I wasnt gonna wait around for prices to drop as they got closer and chance not getting anything figured jump on a pair right away and get it over with.

Curious to see how much the prices go down, if at all. This is the closest (ever) show to my home, and I would love to bring a few more people.

yeah i was tempted to wait with 5 months to go, but I just cant see the price dropping much, seems demand is high for that show. AND, I liked the seats I got / and the seller was sending the physical tickets (so i get the stub instead of a stupid piece of paper)
