Red Mosquito

Hey all. I am a graphic designer and I've recently began this project of reinterpreting Pearl Jam's albums in a poster format. I wanted to break down their albums to a pure concept - either through a theme running each album, something I take from each album, or where the band are with that album.

The project aesthetic as a whole is quite minimal. Anyhow so far I've done three, starting off with Ten:



Followed by Vs:



and then Vitalogy:



So yeah I'm doing this chronologically. Will update here when I can.

I like the first one but the next one is clearly a Dali ripoff. It reeks of pretentiousness.

All of them are fairly derivative.

Yeah, he's got his website link under his avatar, and those were on there, so I thought I'd just post 'em here.

Nice idea but pretty underwhelming. The font/text is pretty overpowering and distracting.

OP, I at least love your work and *cannot wait* for the art/replacement for the avocado cover if there is such a thing!
