Watched episode one on Netflix last night.... A+. There was more tension and drama in that first episode than the entire season of Penny Dreadful.

I need to check this out. It's on my instant list.

Great show. I'd put it up there with Broadchurch and True Detective. Apparently Season 2 has been delayed even further and now it won't be broadcast until 2015.

I loved it. It has that perfect mix of good photography, cool acting, and a very nice story.

Hope they dont mess up with the second season.

I must have already said so in the Mogwai thread but the acting is the weakest part of what is an otherwise decent show. There is some shitty sitcom level acting going on in this thing (not all characters but enough to ruin certain episodes for me). Unless you guys are talking about an American remake of the show?

Yeah, i remember talking about this one in the Mogwai thread. Nope, the french one. Actually, you might be right.

I watched it a few months back, very good, the atmosphere of the town is so perfect for the show.

loved this show.

This one of those deals where people disappear or die then come back and we have to find out why? There are like 500 variations of this formula out there. This one really that good?

I thought the acting was pretty solid. Although I don't speak French, so I'm sure I'm missing lots of subtleties.

Through episode 4 and no complaints so far. Lovin' it.

Done with 6, enjoying the hell out of it.

Finished this last night.... so... totally kicked ass. If it wasn't for True Detective this would have been the best thing I've seen on TV in while. I think I felt slightly anxious and unsettled from the first few scenes through the entire 8 hour run. Loved the visuals, loved the music. Cannot recommend this one enough.

It's going to be hard enjoying The Leftovers after having just seen this.

Yeah, I was so confused when I saw the ads for this. It looks like the exact same thing.

This looks like it's literally shot-for-shot the same as Les Revenants.

Looks like October for Season 2. So hopefully some new Mogwai tunes in September.
