Taylor Swift's article in the WSJ
No news here, but interesting to read the thoughts of someone experiencing music biz success on her level. I listened to my first Taylor Swift songs for the first time recently. I have to admit, she has some really catchy tunes. I'm not sure how much of a hand she has in the writing, but great tunes nonetheless.

I heard Yoko Ono and Counting Crows will be joining her on tour this year.

It's a shame Linda McCartney can't be on that bill. She was so much more talented than that overrated hack husband of hers, so challenging and artistic. I mean, I guess you could tap your toe to a Paul McCartney song or two, but Linda was clearly the artiste in that pair.
This may be too challenging and artistic for some of you:

Someone needs to smoke a joint or go to a Yoko Ono concert. Such hostility.

From what I've read, though she works with collaborators much of the writing is hers.PryTo wrote:No news here, but interesting to read the thoughts of someone experiencing music biz success on her level. Shania Twain is to Taylor Swift as Alanis Morissette is to Avril Lavigne

She has some catchy songs, but you need to turn in your music critic card if you're going to go around propping up Taylor fucking swift.
