Might as well get this thread going--I figure BRLB among others will be interested.
Anyway, who in the FSU department was dumb enough to actually let this tweet go through? The #AskJameis results are hilariously what you would expect.

My friend and I were having a lot of fun this morning making jokes at his expense.
I'm excited for college football season. Even though my Huskers will go 7-5. An inexperienced offensive line will make it hard for stud running back Ameer Abdullah, a young QB, a crappy defensive backfield and we have already lost 2 defensive starters to injury. Randy Gregory is probably going to be the best D End in the country but he will get doubled every damn play.

Florida in Florida. Texas in Texas. NC in NC. SC in SC.
Damn, southerners are dumb.

Why would New York hate Ohio State? There's no Big10 teams in NY.

Good thing they corrected it--BYU is definitely on the "dislike" side of the college football rooting ledger for this Idahoan.
My only serious surprise is the high amount of Michigan hate and that Notre Dame failed to garner a single state. I blame it on how young Reddit tends to be.

But Florida State and Miami are also in Florida, and Texas A&M and Texas Tech are also in Texas. That didn't surprise me at all.

no, i think it has to do with the other schools in those states.
NCSt. & Duke fans would certainly hate hearing about UNC.
Clemson fans absolutely hate SC.
Texas A&M (to name one group) would hate Austin's team.
FSU and Miami would definitely hate UF.

i felt the same way about ND.
my surprises (if i'm seeing things right):
maryland hating UV. I would have expected FSU or miami.
new jersey hating alabama. ????
new england not hating BC.
i could understand penn st. country hating ohio st., but syracuse fans let me down.
i'm shocked oklahoma didn't get a single state.

I think it would be better to see this broken down by counties or metro areas. Travis County (Austin) would show up with a big fat OU logo on it, and whatever county College Station is in would still likely be immensed in Longhorn haterade even though they've already divorced themselves from the Big 12.

The Texas Longhorns can go screw themselves without the benefit of a water based lubricant.

Nah. Hated them way before that.
Your Husker hatred is adorable.

At least both of your teams left the Big 12 while the leaving was good.

'96 Big XII Championship game then?
I don't hate the Huskers by the way. I just find the "greatest fans in college football" thing to be extremely annoying. Same thing with St. Louis Cardinals baseball.
A good deal of my favorite sports memories involve Husker games and moments.

Yeah that probably started it.
I agree with you. Our fans are no different than most. Some good ones. Some bad ones. I'm not the typical Husker fan.
Don't get me started on the Cardinals. Ick.
