What's your favorite?
I always find a lot of unagi and sake on my plate.

I almost always eat sushi alone at the bar. Anyone else?

Sorry to disappoint, but Toro and Calif. rolls. My daughter loves everything Asian, so we really go there to soak in the atmosphere more than anything else.
Edit: And sake, of course.

I've yet to dive into the roll culture, but a quite a few of them look good on the menu.

The best sushi restaurant in PHX is a 5-minute walk from my house. On our next date night, the wife and I are gonna get trashed there and stumble home. The sake prices are incredibly reasonable. I experiment more with the different sakes than the sushi.

i usually get pretty toasted when out for sushi; those pieces of sashimi do nothing to soak up the giant sapporos.

Spicy Tuna and Unagi are my go to, but there is a local place here that has a mean mackerel roll.

I love this movie so much. I can't really explain why. It's just so beautiful.
As for my taste in sushi, I like it simple and traditional. I pretty much just eat nigiri.
