Few bands or artists have made such a deep and lasting impact on me as My Bloody Valentine did, I used to listen to Loveless every night when I fell asleep for a year or two (on headphones, no less) in the hope that I'd absorb even more of its immersive psychedelic throbs and pulses subconsciously while I slept.

I went through a similar nighttime ritual for a while there, too. Sometimes I would strain my ears trying to hear exactly how each component of the songs on Loveless were created, and other times I, like you, would simply drift slowly to shore on the thick waves of sound.
Unless there really is a new album coming "soon," I don't really know what else to add to this thread. I'm glad it exists, though.

They played a new song last night!
Kevin also said the new album will be out in "two or three days", but who knows how serious he is about that.
Seeing them live in three-and-a-half weeks. I might weep, just a little.

I never understood what the fuss was about with this band. Is it one of these you-had-to-be-there things? Like how most people born after 1995 won't get the whole grunge thing?

I wasn't there either, I was only born in 1982.
Like anything, I guess it connects with you or it doesn't.
Their catalogue is by no means flawless - or even consistent, it's more that the good stuff is really, really incredible.

it is a weird band..i kinda forget about them but everytime i listen to something from Loveless i remember how good they are.
But im worn out by Kevin at this point, i want the new record but i really dont care much for his announcements.

The album is available in three formats:
180 gram vinyl + CD + digital download of your choice
CD + digital download of your choice
digital download of your choice
The digital download will be available in the following file types:
16bit 44.1 K WAV file (cd quality)
320kbps MP3
24bit 96 K WAV file
The price of the digital download only is the same regardless of the file quality and size.
The vinyl has been recorded, mixed and mastered in analogue. It is manufactured on 180 gram vinyl and comes in a gatefold sleeve with the CD in a card wallet. The vinyl will be limited due to manufacturing restrictions.
The CD comes in a gatefold card sleeve.
The vinyl and CD artwork is currently being finished and each format will have slightly different but similar artwork to the download artwork that will be attached to your download (pictured in main pack-shot on right of screen).
