Outside merch

I have recently been getting into posters (just concerts I have actually been to.) Even though I have been a huge PL fan since 1998, I have never seen them live. My first show will be in St. Paul and really want a poster. What time do they start selling the merch outside? Or, is it just as easy to get one inside the venue?
Thanks

They are opening at 1:00. I like to grab them outside so I can take it to my car / hotel. Supposedly, it's been easier to grab the merch inside so far this leg (exception: stickers).

Fairly easy to get inside the venue if you don't mind carrying it around, which can be annoying. You might be able to bring in a tube or purchase one. There was a huge line in Seattle outside during the day prior to the show for merch, and some of the items got sold out (there was a second specialty Seattle poster that got sold out). But I just went and quickly grabbed a poster between the main set and the first encore, and there were zero people at the merch stand. Merch stands inside before and after the show can be pretty tough to get through.

If you have a seat (not GA) then I don't think it's a pain at all to carry your poster with you inside the venue.
PS - I saw somewhere else (maybe in a Facebook group?) where people are flipping posters on Ebay the day of (or after) each show asking about $30 more than retail. OK let's do the math. 3 hours in line for $30 profit. That's pathetic.

Three hours in line with ten clubbers should be worth at least a $50 markup you're right....
