despite the drug connotation in the name, i've always liked mary jane's for no other reason than they're tasty.

and for some reason i really only think about them in the context of halloween candy, never as regular candy to buy at the store.

When I was kid there was a neighborhood lady that handed out circus peanuts. I just associate them with Halloween now. The last time I was at a circus they didn't even sell circus peanuts.
