No one seems to have made much of this release but it's fuckin' great! I was hearing Rainbow quite a bit on Sirius and saw the performance on Fallon which made me check out the album. Let me just say that this is not what I would've expected from a new Plant record. Then again, I can't say that I'm intimately familiar with his solo career.
Apparently one of the members of his new backing band was a keyboardist for Massive Attack. That may have something to do with the vibe I get from this record.

You know, this doesn't sound half bad.
I might check it out, thanks!

Is it, you know, NPR-y?

I hate it when Jorge makes me laugh.

Haha, I heard Plant talking about it on NPR on my way home from work awhile back.
There were some clips that sounded good though. Maybe I'm NPR-y?
