Does anyone have this? A Record Store Day release used 2 tracks from it, so clearly, a recording exists. I can't find the show anywhere. Any help?

It's fun at times, but you've gotta deal with a lot of CHUDS and flippers as well, so it can be disheartening.durdencommatyler wrote:Man. I always miss out on RSD. One of these days, I'm gonna participate and get something good. Something real good.
How early do you usually have to turn out?Simple Torture wrote:It's fun at times, but you've gotta deal with a lot of CHUDS and flippers as well, so it can be disheartening.durdencommatyler wrote:Man. That sounds like more my speed. But someday I want to experience the real deal.washing machine II wrote:I normally just browse the leftovers the day after and grab what's still available. I'm sure I've missed out on a lot that way, but that's just not the kind of collector I am.
When I went last April, we pulled into the parking lot 5 minutes after the store opened and the racks inside were already swarmed. They had set up everything right at the front door, so we didn't have to run around or anything. There were probably 50 people inside before us, but I still got 2 out of 3 new releases I was looking for, plus they had a sale on used stuff. I don't think I'll change strategies this year.durdencommatyler wrote:How early do you usually have to turn out?Simple Torture wrote:It's fun at times, but you've gotta deal with a lot of CHUDS and flippers as well, so it can be disheartening.durdencommatyler wrote:Man. Where do you live? Or I guess, where did this most recent RCD experience take place?Bee Girl wrote:RSD is my facorite "holiday" besides Christmas, but as the years have gone by, it is a lot less fun now than when it started out. This year I ended up getting there 30 minutes early and the line was already down the block. When I got in, people were pushing each other and grabbing things from others' hands. What lunatics. And I had the feeling they were all flippers, just after the low numbered items to list on ebay as soon as they got home.
My record store makes it fun by saving up lots of freebies and throwing them out on RSD too, we get free t-shirts and tote bags, records, cds and dvds, stickers, guitar picks. etc., so at least there's that.
