So it seems like they've finally rediscovered how to make the dinosaurs not look like shit. But then why does all of the other CGI look so awful? The enormous crowds, the huge structures, Chris Pratt plays a smart person...it all just reeks of rushed computer graphic.

My first thought watching the trailer was, "how is it possible that the special effects looked VASTLY better in 1990 than they do now?"
This looks... really... well, I'll wait. Maybe it's gonna be fun. But I don't know.

I haven't seen the trailer yet, but I will say that the release date is still quite a ways away, so it's possible some of the effects in the trailer aren't finished yet.
